Current Positions

Multi-Drop Delivery Driver

Due to increased parcel volume, we require people to join our team and the position of Multi Drop Van Driver has arisen within our Deeside depot. The successful candidate must be motivated, great customer service skills and have an excellent work ethic.

Main roles and responsibilities

· Collecting / delivering freight in a timely and friendly manner.

· Loading / unloading vehicles.

· Accurate scanning of freight.

· Manual handling.

· Using a handheld device for capturing proof of delivery.

· Demonstrating good health and safety practises.

Responsibilities of a collection driver:

  • Present yourself calmly and professionally to clients and members of the public.
  • Interacting with clients whilst collecting their items for recycling
  • Ensuring that items are safely loaded onto your vehicle
  • Locating and driving to various addresses - Sat Nav provided.
  • Have good time management skills and meet collection deadlines
  • The ability to prioritise and work on your initiative when under pressure

  • A DBS check ( facilitated by National IT Disposal)
  • A clean driving licence (Driving Licence to be held for at least 5 years)
  • Age 25+ (Due to fleet insurance requirements)

The Removal Driver will need to be fit and able to lift and carry heavy items, the hourly rate will depend on the experience and driving capabilities.

40 Hrs p/w, weekend work would also be required on a rota depending on work volume
